A Rosemary Sutcliff website ...
Anthony Lawton's web pages about Rosemary Sutcliff - lots of information about the forthcoming film of Eagle of the Ninth too:
I really enjoyed the book and wish I had read it earlier. I've ordered up the next two books and look forward to reading them. They are the best thing on Roman Britain which I have read so far!

The film is now to be called The Eagle! Hey Ho - something about not confusing the intended (new) audience.

Was the Eagle also published in the US in 1954? Does anyone know how many copies have been sold in America?
.. and the website about Rosemary has now moved to www.rosemarysutcliff.com (you might like to alter your link)
